The Goddess Electra is thought to have vanished before the destruction of her beloved city of Troy, indeed in mythological account she is said to be the ancestor of the Trojans. 
    Electra is known as one of the Pleiades, daughter of Atlas, though other accounts suggest she is the daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. Likewise her children are variously said to be the Goddesses Iris and Harmonia. 
    Electra was said to appear to mortals in the form of a comet. 

To date team-members have only seen Electra as a figure of light, though at times she can be glimpsed as a young-looking Goddess with forceful voice:

"I am Electra a powerful Goddess of Olympia. Not well known like some, yet there are those who are aware of me. But one day all will know of me. I am a hard-working Goddess, today is my day, a special one. I do not celebrate like most. My power is strong and I work.
    You have been given gifts of hearing and seeing and of feeling, so I can converse with you. I take you priestess to a temple that once was for me. Find it, it is right in the middle."

'...I was in an open space looking at a huge group of prickly bushes, the whole area was covered in them and the temple seemed to be in the middle. First I walked around the outside to see if there were gaps but it was all a thick tangled mess, and all I could find was a small stick but it didn't help much to beat back the thorn bushes. But I made my way, getting very scratched and torn and somehow I got through and there in the middle was a lot of stones and rubble and I felt very disappointed. Then on the ground I saw the remains of a mosaic, part of a floor, I wiped away leaves and dust and stones and could see there had been a design with a face in the middle, but much of the mosaic was missing. I wondered whether it was her face.

"Now you know how my temple was left. 
    Temples now are mine in different countries. I have been heard, I have spoken to many mortals and those that have heard me are puzzled and talk among themselves and in time will realise what is happening. I am angry at the way faithful followers of the Olympian faith were murdered."

I saw the temple how it was. 
    I saw a girl child of about ten years going into the temple alone. There was no one else inside and she stood before a statue, praying and asking the Goddess to make her mother well again as she had been ill for a long time. The child finished praying and left the temple. Then I saw a man in a loose black robe confront the child, reminding her that she knew she was forbidden to enter the heathen temple. The child replied she had been praying for her mother's recovery. The man had a limp, he carried a stick and struck the child three times, the third blow felled her and she struck her head on the pillar and died. The man just limped away.
    I heard Electra speak:
    "It is with great joy I now see cracks appearing in the foundations of the Christian churches."

The temple vanished and I saw a parish church in woodland. I watched as her blue light became a lightning flash, very vivid blue and it passed right through the spire and brought it crashing to the ground. 
    The spire was completely knocked off and both side walls of the church were badly damaged. Then everything went dark for a few moments and I was back there. The church had gone, it had been cleared away and in place of the church was a circular building with a domed roof. It looked as if made from glazed tiling in bright blue with a little gold pattern in the middle of each tile. The domed roof was plain blue, but not glazed tiling. There was a wooden door and a path leading to it. The building looked so pretty and in such a lovely setting.

"In place of a Christian church a small shrine will be built for me. This I show you, so be happy."
